Grief Support Group
Lisa Warner, LCSW, Director of Clinical and Social Services at JFS, is now facilitating a Grief Support Group at JFS.
The group is for adults who are grieving the loss of parents, children, a spouse or friends. It is a safe environment to talk about grief and obtain support and feedback.
The group meets 2 times a month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 10:30am to noon at JFS.

JFS SV provides professional therapeutic counseling to individuals and families facing a range of issues and life challenges. We provide support to children, adults, and families during times of crisis or periods of transition. Our counseling services are conducted Monday through Friday and are available on a sliding scale. Lisa Warner, LCSW
Lisa is the Director of Clinical and Social Services here at JFS. Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 25 years of social work experience with children, families and adults. She has an extensive background working with older adults; especially with issues such as depression and anxiety. She has done individual grief counseling and facilitated groups; worked in hospice and palliative care; worked with domestic violence victims and victims of child abuse; and counseled couples around relationship issues. Lisa takes a client-centered approach and believes strongly in an individual’s resiliency and capacity for change.

Sandra Pannell, MA
Sandra is JFS' Project NOAH Social Worker. She has a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and 26 years of experience working with youth and adults in a variety of crisis settings. She is an experienced case manager and client advocate; and helps connect people with low incomes to the services to the services they need. Sandra uses a variety of techniques to move individuals to positive change.

Lauren Pizzulli, Home Care Lead/MSW Intern
Lauren is a second year MSW student at the University of Southern California. Her main focus is in counseling through evidence-based interventions. Prior to starting her MSW, Lauren spent 5 years as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist working with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. She specializes in working with children and families, military and veterans, and individuals living with a range of mental illnesses.
