Client Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Client Services Coordinator who will work together with the Older Adult Care Manager to ensure that Holocaust survivors (along with other seniors) have access to essential services that will support independent living in the community. The Client Services Coordinator will interface with clients and their caregivers while managing the creation, submittal and tracking of all benefit requests and invoices for services received, as required by funders including Claims Conference, KAVOD SHEF and other community-based benefits that are relevant to holocaust survivors. Additionally, the Client Services Coordinator will be the first point of contact for individuals who are requesting information and referral regarding all JFS SV services. 


Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Interface with clients and their caregivers to document and monitor the use allocated service hours and assistance provided by funders including homecare, rental assistance, medical care, food assistance, and others TBD
  • Assist in the distribution of in-person and mailed gift cards and other (food, Embrace-A-Family) assistance
  • Engage with new referents to JFS SV by responding to phone and email inquiries in a timely and sensitive manner
  • Assess referent needs, explore options for assistance, gather essential intake information and refer to appropriate JFS SV programs
  • Work collaboratively with JFS SV teammates to ensure good programmatic understanding
  • Ensure that documentation and invoices and invoices are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all client affiliated documentation is complete, uploaded and documented in JFS SV client service database
  • Complete service and outcome reports required by funders
  • Develop strong working relationships with funders to ensure that services are appropriately delivered and problems are resolved
