Our JFS SV staff members are experienced professionals who provide our clients caring and supportive services which strengthen and enhance their lives. JFS SV serves clients without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, or ability to pay.
JFS SV professionals work with aging seniors and their families to assess their needs and develop plans for long term care and safety; in either an independent or assisted living environment.
JFS SV offers a range of vocational training including career counseling and English language training programs to assist recently arrived refugees, immigrants, and members of the local Jewish community in finding jobs with local employers.
JFS SV HomeCare Services provide compassionate, professional, reliable and personalized 24Hr services at competitive rates, covering assessment and care planning, family consultation, professional support services to Chai house residents, Chaplain Aides, Caregiver support, Kosher food packages, and Friendly Visitors.
JFS provides a broad range of support services for over 200 local Holocaust survivors and their families to assist in maintaining their financial, emotional, and physical well-being. These include reparations claims assistance and up-to-date Claims Conference information, emergency services and financial assistance, case management and emotional support, home visits and homemaker assistance, wellness services and greater access to medical care.
JFS SV provides individual and family counseling for parents and their children. JFSSV also provides emergency intervention services to children, adults, and families during times of crisis or transition.
Project NOAH provides a safety net of case management, counseling, advocacy and assistance during crises or otherwise urgent situations. For some JFS clients, their need comes in the form of a life crisis; for others, there are ongoing challenges.
Our clients include lower income families and individuals, who are in crisis or facing ongoing challenges.
JFS SV provides resettlement services for families and individuals. These services include pre-arrival services, case management, extensive English as a Second Language and computer training, and job search skills and employment services.
