15th Annual Embrace-A-Family Holiday Gift Drive Huge Success!

Updated: Jul 12, 2023

We are grateful to all of the community partners, volunteers and donors who helped bring joyto JFS SV clients this holiday season.

This year:

  • 19 community partners participated in EAF. See below for the full list of partners.

  • 278 clients received gifts, including refugees, older adults and community clients served through Project NOAH

  • 1058 wishes were fulfilled helping to brighten the winter months and holidays for so many

  • ~$6,500 was raised to support JFS SV’s holiday food bag program and emergency client needs

  • Overall, ~$61,500 total contributions were made to the 2022 EAF program!*

WOW!

Here’s what JFS SV clients had to say:

“I didn’t know how I was going to have presents to put under the tree for my kids.  I am very

grateful to JFS SV for providing.  You brightened up our holiday. G-d bless.”

Sonia, mother of 5 who was between jobs.

“I was so excited to receive these generous gift cards from JFS! As everything becomes more

expensive, this is a huge help and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Redwood Senior resident on a fixed income who received gift cards from EAF.

Lastly, please take a moment to complete our surveymonkey survey to help us improve on and plan for next year’s Embrace-A-Family program.

With Deep Appreciation,

The JFS SV Staff
