JFS SV is one of only three agencies resettling refugees in Northern California. We serve hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers annually who have experienced persecution due to their religion, ethnicity, political expression or sexual orientation. They come from all over the world and arrive here with no more than one bag of personal items. JFS SV provides our refugee clients with essential items upon arrival and relies on donations of these items from the community.
