Dear Friends,

I’m still carrying the energy of Good Day JFS, and I am incredibly grateful to our donors, the JFS team, board members, and community members for making it a memorable day. We had 500 at the luncheon, united by a shared commitment to our Jewish values: repairing the world, welcoming the stranger, and respect and dignity for all.

I’m appreciative of Sheryl Sandberg, technology executive, philanthropist, and writer, for joining Scott Budman, NBC Bay Area anchor, for an insightful discussion. They spoke about the importance of courage, compassion, and creating space for hard conversations to find a way forward, especially in today’s uncertain and divided world.

At JFS, those conversations connect directly to the work we do every day. The needs in our community continue to grow, and sustaining these services requires all of us working together.

Because of your support, we can continue providing critical services, connections, and care to individuals and families across Silicon Valley. I hope you take a moment to watch the video created for this year’s event, which captures the diverse voices of the community we serve. It’s their messages that help illuminate just how much of a difference the support we get makes.

With gratitude

Susan Frazer, LCSW
