    Join us for JFS Silicon Valley’s Annual Meeting as we reflect on the year, share updates on our work, and recognize the people and partners who help us meet the evolving needs of our community.

We understand the importance of staying connected to one's religion and cultural heritage, especially as we age. Our programs and services are thoughtfully tailored to provide compassionate care, meaningful connections, and a sense of community.

Friendly Visitors

Volunteers offer companionship and emotional support, bringing warmth and connection. They also enrich experiences by connecting around Jewish holidays, fostering a sense of celebration, tradition and community.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation solutions for those who need assistance getting to community activities, religious services, medical appointments and social events. Partnering with "On The Go," we can coordinate and subsidize rides for those who need support. Volunteer drivers offer additional transportation options as needed.

Holiday Programs

We help Jewish older adults connect to the holidays by offering monthly Shabbat services and special programs surrounding Rosh Hashanah and Passover, creating opportunities for reflection, celebration, and community engagement.
 

Holiday food bags filled with traditional foods are delivered to Jewish older adults at Passover and Rosh Hashanah ensuring that those who are isolated can celebrate and feel connected to their community.

Jewish Community Programming

Educational workshops, support groups and enrichment activities are organized and offered at many senior living and apartment complexes for Jewish residents to promote social interaction, emotional support and cultural engagement.
