Dear Friends,
As Passover approaches, we are reminded that the story of the Jewish people is one of resilience, responsibility for one another, and the belief that even in difficult times, we can move toward a better future.
In a moment when world events can make the future feel uncertain, the work of JFS of Silicon Valley feels more important than ever.
Every day, our team and volunteers are helping older adults and Holocaust survivors remain safe and supported in their homes. We are assisting caregivers who are navigating the challenges of caring for loved ones. We are supporting immigrants and newcomers as they build new lives, helping individuals and families find stable housing, delivering food to households facing hardship, providing transportation to medical appointments, and offering counseling and emotional support to members of our community.
These acts may seem small on their own, but together they reflect the heart of tikkun olam — the responsibility we share to repair the world.
Especially during times of uncertainty, JFS stands as a place of stability, care, and connection for our community.
Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful and peaceful Passover.
