Here’s How You Can Help

Last month, we introduced Eat to Learn, our initiative to help ensure students have the healthy snacks they need to stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. Now, we’re inviting our community to help make it a reality.

JFS Silicon Valley is collecting individually packaged, healthy snacks through July 24, to distribute to families with school-aged children throughout the school year. By providing ongoing snack support, Eat to Learn helps ease financial pressure on parents while giving students one less barrier to learning.

There are many ways to get involved:

1. Purchase items from our SignUpGenius wish list

Visit: signupgenius.com/go/ETL2026, choose items, and have them shipped directly to JFS. It takes about two minutes.

2. Shop on your own

Pick up the requested snacks and bring them to the JFS office at any time during the campaign.

 3. Make a financial gift

Prefer to donate instead? Give to the Eat to Learn fund, and we'll do the shopping for you. You can also mail a check to:

Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley

PO Box 320490

Los Gatos, CA 95032

(Please note "Eat to Learn" in the memo line.)

4. Volunteer to help prepare donations for distribution.

Every contribution helps ensure local students have the nourishment they need to thrive.

To learn more, call (408) 556-0600 or email backpack@jfssv.org. Together, we can help students arrive at school ready to succeed!

We would like to recognize and thank our community partners for their support as we launch our Eat to Learn back to school program this year.
